Series co-ordinator Lindsay Dodd says that the category is "excited and delighted" to welcome Jarvis into the series. While Jarvis is the major addition to the Ford ranks for this season Holden have also scored a coup with the news that former BNT V8s competitor Dave Stewart of Wellingtonwill be on the grid from the second round of the series at Powerbuilt Raceway in Christchurch. Stewart haspurchased the Holden of Steve Elliott after he had a brieftaste of V8 Ute actionin a lease vehicle last season.

Thatexperiencewill allow Doddtoreproduce the systems fromthe highly successful Australian series into the New Zealand version.
